Customer information: Placing an order

Dear Customer,

With this customer information notice we fulfil our mandatory duty to provide information and instruction. In the following text, we shall inform you about all circumstances concerning the formation and completion of a contract. This customer information does not represent a condition of the contract. The conditions of contract are contained in our General Terms and Conditions.

1. Information about the supplier
This online shop contains a range of goods offered by Autoteile Post AG. Further information about us and our contact address can be obtained from the section marked Imprint.

2. Placing an order/Conclusion of contract
The contract between you and us is concluded in the following way:
Step 1: You can choose at will from our range and place goods in your shopping basket by clicking on "buy now" in the overview or by clicking on "add to basket" on the page where a product is displayed.

Step 2: You can view, change or empty the contents of your shopping basket at any time by clicking on the shopping-basket symbol at the top right-hand side. Changes can be made using the computer mouse. You can completely remove individual items from your basket by clicking on the red X on the left-hand side of each individual item. For each individual item you can also change the quantity of items ordered by entering the required quantity manually and then clicking on "update shopping basket".

Step 3: By clicking on "checkout", you reveal the display screen marked "delivery address/means of delivery". Here you can enter your delivery address and choose your preferred means of delivery. By clicking with the right mouse key on "delivery charges/forwarding expenses" next to "means of forwarding" or on "Shipping & Returns" in the right-hand menu bar you can see the charges for the different means of delivery. In addition, you can also enter a comment about each order.

Step 4: By clicking on "continue" you reveal the display screen marked "place order". After you have checked that all details are correct, you can complete your purchase by clicking on "order". In doing this, you make a binding declaration to us about the order in terms of the goods contained in your basket, at the same declaring that you agree with the validity of our General Terms and Conditions.

Step 5: On the display screen which is subsequently revealed you will be informed that your order has been carried out. This means that your order has been received by our system.

Step 6: Immediately after placing the order you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This e-mail is a binding acceptance of your offer, since the availability of the products cannot yet be ensured.

Step 7: As soon as the goods have left our premises you will receive, according to your wishes, a confirmation of delivery either by e-mail or fax.
